It’s a conversation about strength that often goes unnoticed. About leadership that defies expectations. About responsibility and resolve.
On May 7, hromadske will host its annual conference. This year, it is titled “A War of a Woman’s Kind.”
The conference will feature three key panels:
- The Female Pixel – discussing equality, challenges, trust, and institutional changes for women in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- (Not) a Woman’s Business – about the challenges and achievements of Ukrainian women who have broken through traditional gender barriers and taken on leadership roles in sectors long considered “male-dominated.”
- Invisible Female Feat – about the unseen daily care of wives and mothers searching for relatives in captivity and caring for husbands and sons with disabilities — about strength and patience that never make it to the covers.
Among the invited speakers are:
- Oksana Zholnovych, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine;
- Alina Mykhailova, military officer and head of the medical service of the “Ulf” unit of the Da Vinci Wolves Battalion;
- Iryna Huk, Director of the Leleka Foundation, and others.
Language of the event: Ukrainian with simultaneous English interpretation.
